Small Budget, Big Payback Employee Recognition for Challenging Times

Update to this post: the webinar was recorded and is now available: click here

I’m enjoying settling back in after a month of pretty much nonstop travel. It was an exciting launch for the second edition of Make Their Day and also a chance to really get a pulse on how the economy is affecting organizations around the world.

What did I find out? People are anxious to help their organizations pull through the crisis. They are hungry for information on how they can help, particularly with maintaining morale, productivity and innovation in the face of layoffs, pay cuts, and work furloughs. At the same time, most have practically no money to spend.

With this in mind, I decided that I am going to offer my very popular program, Small Budget, Big Payback: Employee Recognition for Challenging Times as a webinar on June 17. Here are the details:

Webinar – June 17, 2009 10:00 Pacific/12:00 Central/1:00 Eastern
Small Budget, Big Payback
Employee Recognition For Challenging Times
10:00-11:00  PDT
$15 ($100 flat fee for groups of 10 or more)
Audience: managers,  supervisors, and HR

The budget for recognition is one of the first things to go in a poor economy, but that doesn’t mean recognition has to suffer. To maintain morale and productivity, your organization needs employee recognition now more than ever.  There are lots of ways you can invest in recognition, but to get the most return possible you need to follow a simple formula.

During the webinar we will focus of what employees want right now. Economic conditions affect employee expectations for recognition. Make the wrong choice and you could undermine morale rather than bolster it. We will also look at inexpensive ideas you can implement today. Find out what other organizations are doing with positive results and minimal investment.

I hope you can spend the hour with me. It’s know it’s short notice, but if you can make it, I guarantee it will be worth your time.
